MUSEUM VISIT LOGS

As a part of my project(and also I wanted to), I visited some museums in and
around Rotterdam
with friends. This was really fun and I have some more on my list to check out. There is a rich
culture of
technological devices, inventions and their uses and these are usually available to investigate in
media museums. When I
was making a list of online media museums I found (check them out
here) I also stumbled upon a lot of dutch ones that were already closed down.
As a part of a next step for this project, I'd like to organize museum visits and have talks with
museum volunteers :) They are sweet old
people who have been spending their lives understanding technologies of all kinds. I am not the
biggest fan of old people but I love reading a wikipedia article. And this is essentially the same,
but all the references are lived experiences which I think is pretty cool.
